Sustainability Report

Education is the most powerful tool for building a sustainable world

We believe lasting change begins in the classroom and extends outward. By building skills like resilience, environmental awareness, collaboration, and ethical leadership, we empower students to make a positive impact beyond school.

Through initiatives such as hydroponic farming, zero-waste campaigns, digital wellness, and climate action, our schools show that learning can be meaningful and actionable—strengthening sustainability and amplifying impact.

Our ESG progress

ESG performance is measured across key environmental, social, and governance priorities, guided by a structured materiality assessment aligned with global standards and UAE regulatory expectations. These metrics provide a clear view of progress and impact across the organisation.

As a leading education provider in the UAE, Taaleem recognises its responsibility to operate sustainably and to nurture a culture of environmental stewardship among its students and staff. In 2024–2025, the organisation prioritised the implementation of impactful environmental programmes aligned with national climate goals and the UAE Net Zero 2050 Strategy. Taaleem continues to advance energy efficiency and clean energy initiatives, including solar installations across selected schools, while actively managing water usage through conservation measures and sustainable landscaping. Waste reduction is supported through recycling programmes, digital controls, and responsible resource management, alongside initiatives that engage students in environmental stewardship and support broader climate action.
